About this event

Join us this February for 'Share for Better Care Week'.

Get involved and help more people speak up about their care.

Why participate?

Public feedback about NHS and social care support helps services spot problems and identify what's working well, and areas for improvement.

However, 60% of people have never given feedback on care.

You can help change this by supporting Share for Better Care Week, which begins on 24 February 2025.

Whether you work in the NHS or social care or receive support from them, you can play your part by asking others to donate three minutes of their time to share feedback about their care.

What will happen?

Despite having busy lives, most people are willing to spare a few minutes to share their care experiences, especially if they think it will help improve health services.

Share for Better Care Week will highlight how everyone can transform an everyday spare moment — whether waiting for the kettle to boil or the bus to arrive — into an opportunity to make a positive impact by sharing feedback about their care.

By getting involved, you can raise awareness about why health and social care services value feedback, and the difference it makes, and encourage more people to act.

Who is already supporting Share for Better Care week?

Organised by the Care Quality Commission and Healthwatch England, the campaign aims to encourage more people to share their feedback to drive improvements in health and care.

The campaign is supported by:

  • The Race Equality Foundation
  • National Dignity Council
  • Royal Association for Deaf people
  • National Voices
  • The Challenging Behaviour Foundation
  • The Patients Association
  • VoiceAbility
  • Disability Rights UK
