Chair of Healthwatch England confirmed

Jane has held this position on an interim basis since December 2015 and has been a committee member of Healthwatch England since 2012.

Her former experience includes being the Deputy Chair of Citizens Advice and the Vice Chair of the Gangmasters’ Licensing Authority.

Jane will serve for two years and will also continue to sit on the Board of the Care Quality Commission.

Welcoming the news Peter Wyman, Chair of the Care Quality Commission, said:

“Jane’s background in consumer rights and protection will be invaluable in helping the health and care sectors enhance how they use and capture the views and experiences of people. Her experience makes her an asset as both a non-executive director of CQC and as Chair of Healthwatch England.”
